Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how FreshOps ("the app", "we", "us") handles your information. FreshOps is a store-operations tool for sandwich-franchise owners and their staff. By using FreshOps you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information We Collect
- Account & organisation data: Your franchise (organisation) name, the stores you add, store-level access tokens, and the admin token that identifies your account.
- Store credentials: If you connect your franchise's point-of-sale / pricing account, the API credentials you provide are stored encrypted on our servers and are used only to retrieve your own store data. They are never exposed to the app, your browser, or your employees.
- Operational records: Pricing information, daily closing records, and forecasts generated from your stores' data.
- Purchase status: Whether your organisation has an active subscription, and whether an employee has unlocked in-app access, managed through our payment providers.
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or browsing activity.
2. How Your Information Is Used
- To display your stores' pricing, forecasts, and closing records.
- To let owners manage stores and issue access tokens to employees.
- To provide and manage your subscription or one-time purchase.
3. Where Your Data Is Stored
Organisation, store, pricing, and closing data is stored in a secure, access-controlled database operated on our behalf. Store credentials are encrypted at rest. Data is scoped per organisation so that one franchise cannot access another's information.
4. Third-Party Services
- Apple: In-app purchases are processed by Apple. We never receive your payment card details.
- RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchase status for the employee unlock. It receives a pseudonymous identifier and purchase information, not your store data.
- Stripe: Owner subscriptions purchased on our web dashboard are processed by Stripe. Stripe handles payment details directly; we receive only your subscription status.
- Google Analytics: Our public website and blog use Google Analytics to measure visitor numbers and which pages are read. It sets cookies and collects anonymised usage data (such as pages viewed and approximate location). It is not used inside the app or on the owner dashboard, and it does not receive your store data.
5. Permissions
FreshOps does not request access to your location, camera, contacts, or photos. It only needs a network connection to sync your store data.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share your store or pricing data with advertisers. Data is used solely to operate FreshOps for you.
7. Data Retention & Deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app (Settings → Account → Delete Account) or from the web dashboard. Deletion is permanent and immediately removes your organisation, its stores, stored credentials, closing records, and any access tokens from our systems. Cancelling a subscription can also be done through the web dashboard's billing portal.
8. Children's Privacy
FreshOps is a business tool intended for adults. It is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
